Mrs. Anita Shantaram is a Director at Grid Consultants Pvt. Ltd. She is the first women to be certified as Grid Instructor in India after successfully completing the course in USA.

She holds a post graduation degree in Industrial Psychology from Bombay University.

She is currently pursuing her PhD from BITS Pilani in the area of Business Ethics.

She has presented a research paper at the HRD Institute, Bangalore ’Does it pay to be Ethical’ and received a best paper award. She also presented a paper ‘Can Ethics be Taught’ at the ISTD national conference.

She has attended the Dale Carnegie course "High Impact Presentations" and Steven Covey’s Time Management programme in USA. She has also undergone "Train the Trainer" programme in Transactional Analysis.

A faculty member at Sydenham College, Mumbai for (BMS) on Communication skills since 2002 and Organisational Behavior, she has earlier taught Psychology at Jaihind College, Mumbai. She is also teaching Soft Skills/Business Communication at IBS business school since 2007.

She has been a guest faculty to various Management Institutes and has conducted over 1000 workshops in India and Dubai on various topics such as:

She has conducted workshops for organizations such as AMW, Infosys Technologies, Larsen and Toubro, Tata Consulting Engineers, Jindal Power, Lupin, Castrol, Indian oil, Intergold, Motorola, Reliance Industries, Orchid Hotel, Cap Gemini, Zenta, Honda Siel, Penguin India, CMC, JK Tyres, Patel Roadways, SEBI, Godfrey Phillips , Crompton Greaves, RBI, Hinduja Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Symantec to name a few.

She has been a panel trainer for BMA and FICCI

Her articles have been published in BMA Review , the Times of India and the Self Development Magazine.

Her first book ’Speak Well Do Well’ on public speaking skills has been well received. It is now in its 3rd edition.

She has also written in the book ’Self Development for Sure Success’.

She is a trustee of "Dr. P.N.Singh Foundation" which is conducting the "Leaders of Tomorrow Project" in 46 schools in Mumbai.

She was the President for 2009–2010 for Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview.
